White Sage (Salvia apiana) Known for its potent cleansing and healing properties; white sage is one of the most common plants used for smudging. It is believed to purify the mind, body, and soul, as well as protect against negative influences. White sage is traditionally gathered with respect and gratitude, ensuring that the plant is not harmed or overharvested.
 
Smudging involves the burning of sacred herbs or resins, is a ceremony practiced by some Indigenous peoples. In our family, we are constantly burning sage to release negative energy from our home.  All items have been ethically sourced and minimally handled to avoid energy transference.
